Periodic Inspection Reports (PIR)

At NWPT we are dedicated in helping you ensure that your electrical installations are maintained in a safe condition. We examine all installations for compliance with the latest British Standards ‘BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations’. We work around you as the customer so as not to disturb whatever business you may be in. All limitations are agreed before hand and a full report shall be provided upon completion.

Why test the installation?

Due to a number of factors damage wear and tear, excessive loading and ageing, all electrical installations deteriorate. By testing, existing faults can be identified and then corrected. Also any possible faults can be prevented emitting loss of electricity and down time.

When to consider periodic inspection and testing of the installation:

• Change of ownership
• Change of tenancy
• Change of use of premises
• To verify continued compliance with BS 7671
• To comply with insurance companies
